What is "valor"? As defined by a dictionary, valor is boldness or determination, especially in great danger. Using the same ideology, we'd like to introduce you to the Valor Music Group.

Formed by music enthusiasts, dare we say addicts, young entrepreneurs, and brothers to boot, Dan and Tim Parker have created the Valor Music Group with a business model to put power back in the hands of artists and independents.

Allow us to introduce ourselves. Dan has been playing and writing music as long as he can remember. It wasn't until 2006, after playing in countless bands throughout adolescence, that he found himself as a principal songwriter and guitarist for nationally recognized rock band. With the band, he has toured relentlessly, written and released dozens of songs, worked with A-class producers, and been in world-class studios. He has experienced the perks and lived through the woes of the industry, and taken with him a vast knowledge. Tim has been connected to the independent music scene since he was barely a teenager. He first got in the business as a graphic designer and web developer at an astonishingly young age, sought after by countless bands and their record labels for his professional and relevant take on online media. He's also spent the past few years as a premier concert and event promoter around the southwest, putting on countless sell-out events. Together, they have a strong business sense, appreciation for genuine music and hard-working musicians, a keen eye for talent, and are ready to make a splash in the music industry.

Let's face it, the music industry is a mess, crippled by over-saturation, piracy, and greed. However, there is much more at the disposal to the independent companies and artists not funded the the powerhouse major labels and companies of the ilk. Here at Valor Music Group, or VMG, we are utilizing those tools to push our artists to the edge and beyond. Combining quality song-writing, professional studio recording and production, viral marketing, and live event promotion, we will not rest until our artists get what they dream about and deserve. We share those dreams, so we work just has hard to make those become a reality.
